2 weeks after the pre-closure inspection, the horizontal stabilser (or tailplane) is closed-off and complete. The riveting in this phase is more difficult than previous areas as both sides of the rivet are not visible. Holding the bucking bar 'vet-like' with one arm inside the skinned part of the tailplane with the riveting gun outside has its challenges!
